Our Chipmunk Classroom is the first step in your child’s learning journey at Chatterbox. Designed for infants ages six weeks through approximately six to nine months, this nurturing environment focuses on comfort, connection, and early development. ​ Children receive plenty of cuddles, one-on-one attention, and purposeful play, including tummy time to support early physical development. Our teachers help infants build important skills such as rolling over and sitting up, while also encouraging early language, social interaction, and emotional growth through smiles, laughter, affection, and responsive care.

The Squirrel Classroom is designed for children ages six months through approximately one to one-and-a-half years. This classroom supports growing independence while continuing to provide the nurturing care infants need. ​ Teachers work closely with each child to encourage important developmental milestones such as crawling, standing, walking, and transitioning to regular foods. Just like in the Chipmunk Classroom, children receive plenty of snuggles, floor play, and individualized attention. Children also begin to explore music and art activities that support physical coordination and social development. Early language skills continue to emerge, and teachers foster this growth through daily stories, songs, rhythms, and rhymes.

The Badger Classroom is designed for toddler-aged children, typically ages one to two years. At this stage, children thrive with predictable routines while still needing flexibility, comfort, and responsive care. The day includes short, engaging group times that introduce simple concepts such as colors and shapes, along with stories, songs, and movement. Toddlers also participate in hands-on activities like art, sensory play, simple cooking experiences, and early science exploration that encourage curiosity and learning through play. In the Badger Classroom, children begin to develop skills such as: • Building independence in self-help tasks • Using words, gestures, and sounds to communicate needs • Exploring social interactions with peers • Developing fine and gross motor skills through active play • Expressing emotions and learning early self-regulation

After the Badger Classroom, children transition into the Owl Classroom. This classroom serves as a bridge between the toddler program and the preschool environment, offering a balance of nurturing support and increased independence. With a small group size and a predictable routine, teachers focus on helping children practice and master important self-help and social skills needed for preschool readiness. The Owl Classroom gently introduces longer group times, structured activities, and guided play while still honoring each child's individual pace. In the Owl Classroom, children begin to develop skills such as: • Increasing independence in self-help skills such as handwashing, toileting routines, dressing, and cleaning up • Following simple directions and participating in longer group activities • Communicating needs, thoughts, and feelings using words and short phrases • Developing positive social skills including turn-taking, sharing, and cooperative play • Strengthening fine and gross motor skills through hands-on activities and active play • Practicing early problem-solving and building attention and focus • Learning to manage emotions with teacher support and guidance

The Fox Classroom offers our 3K/Preschool Program for children ages two to three years. This program focuses on supporting the whole child by nurturing growth across all developmental domains through play-based, hands-on learning. Children participate in a structured yet flexible daily routine that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence. Learning experiences are designed to support social-emotional growth, language development, early math and literacy skills, and physical development in ways that are meaningful and engaging for young children. In the Fox Classroom, children learn to: • Build positive relationships with peers and teachers • Communicate needs, ideas, and emotions using words and simple sentences • Follow classroom routines with growing independence • Participate in group activities and cooperative play • Develop early literacy skills through stories, songs, and books • Explore early math concepts such as counting, shapes, and patterns • Strengthen fine and gross motor skills through play, art, and movement • Practice problem-solving, creativity, and self-help skills

The Wolf Classroom offers our 4K Readiness Program, designed to help children build the foundational skills they will use in 4K. This program focuses on preparing children socially, emotionally, and academically to support a confident and successful transition into a 4K setting. Through play-based learning, structured group activities, and hands-on experiences, children are given opportunities to practice important early learning skills while building independence and confidence. The goal of the Wolf Classroom is to give children a strong head start as they prepare for 4K. After completing the 4K Readiness Program, children are expected to be able to: • Follow classroom routines and directions with minimal support • Participate in group activities, circle time, and structured learning experiences • Communicate thoughts, needs, and feelings using complete sentences • Recognize and identify letters in their name and begin letter-sound awareness • Demonstrate early literacy skills such as listening to stories, retelling events, and engaging in conversations • Explore early math concepts including counting, number recognition, shapes, patterns, and sorting • Use fine motor skills to hold writing tools, draw basic shapes, and engage in pre-writing activities • Demonstrate independence in self-help skills such as toileting, handwashing, and managing personal belongings • Practice positive social skills including turn-taking, sharing, problem-solving, and emotional regulation
